Apartments, houses, and townhouses across Northern Virginia, the District, and the Maryland suburbs. We also do single-item moves and in-house moves when you just need a piano or an armoire shifted and nobody wants to be the one lifting it.
Commercial moving
Offices, practices, and small facilities around the District and inside the Beltway. We work around your schedule so your team comes back to a room that is ready rather than a room full of crates.
Long distance
We are a licensed and insured interstate carrier, not a broker, and we provide direct delivery to your new home. You are not waiting on other families' shipments to be routed before yours moves.
Packing and storage
Full or partial packing, plus storage vaults for the gap between closing dates or while a house is staged for sale. Everything inventoried and wrapped, so what goes in is what comes out.

Around Town Movers is part of Hometown Services, LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business based at 101 International Drive in Sterling. Our sister company, Campbell Moving & Storage, has been moving Northern Virginia since 1978, and our senior move management division, BusyBuddies, since 1994. Between them that is over a century of combined experience in this region. That matters more than it sounds like it should. A lot of what turns up when you search for movers here is a broker: a call center that sells your job to whoever bids on it, and you find out who is actually showing up when the truck arrives. We are a licensed and insured interstate carrier. Our crews, our trucks, our name on the side.
